Former Commonwealth Secretary General, Chief Emeka Anyaoku has said that Nigeria was not immune to the disastrous effects of climate change despite the fact that it is not being prone to natural disasters such as earth-quakes, typhoons or massive floods. Anyaoku said this at 2009 Annual Dinner Dance of the Nigerian Conservation Foundation (NCF) held on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at the Muson Centre in Lagos.
